There are a multitude of interesting places to visit to buy local Spanish handicrafts throughout the centre of the town. For a greater shopping experience the towns of Coín, Marbella or Fuengirola are only a short drive away.
Fuengirola is home to the Miramar shopping centre, a vast commercial centre housing all the usual high street brands, a pet shop, bookstores, baby Spain stores, and a few boutique stores in addition to an entertainment area where you'll find the cinema which shows both Spanish and English language films. The larger commercial centres in and around Marbella are very family friendly and you will often find lots for the children to do.
Malaga city is also but a short drive away so if you are looking for something a little special then the city is sure to have it on offer. Whether you are looking for an electrical superstore, top quality tailors, beauty store selling elemis products, the city is large enough for at least a whole day out!
